It is with a heart full of gratitude and purpose that I address you as the Founder and Executive Director of Jewels Leading Lights Academy. Since the inception of this school in 2013, my vision has always been rooted in raising godly, innovative, and academically excellent leaders who shine as beacons of light in their communities and beyond.
Our journey began with a simple yet profound mission inspired by the Leading Lights Bible Club in 2012—a gathering where children learned to embrace their identity as the light of the world, reflecting the teachings of Christ in their daily lives. It was this passion for consistent spiritual and academic nurturing that gave birth to Jewels Leading Lights Academy.
Over the years, we have witnessed extraordinary growth and transformation. Starting with just seven learners in our Early Years Center, we have expanded to include thriving primary and secondary school programs. This growth is a testament to God’s faithfulness, the dedication of our staff, and the unwavering support of our parent community. Today, our school is recognized for its outstanding academic achievements and spiritual impact, with accreditations from WAEC, NECO, and Cambridge International validating our commitment to excellence.
As we continue to pursue our vision, our mission remains steadfast: to create an environment that combines world-class education with Christian principles. Our approach is holistic, fostering not only academic brilliance but also character, leadership, and creativity. By integrating our core values of Discipline, Integrity, Respect, Excellence, Compassion, and Teamwork into every facet of our learning environment, we aim to shape students who are not only equipped for personal success but also prepared to contribute meaningfully to society.
The future of Jewels Leading Lights Academy is filled with promise. With great joy, I am delighted to share that we have successfully transitioned to our permanent site, now known as Jewels Leading Lights International. This move marks a new era of growth and progress, providing an even more enriching and conducive atmosphere for our learners to thrive. This milestone reflects our unwavering belief in the potential of every child to excel and our dedication to fostering excellence in every dimension of their growth.
